OLC productions picked up speed in October as the 2025-2026 school year got underway. In October, Brian and Joe delivered a workshop on how to use and assign Podcasting in any class, and had a great discussion about multimodal (and evolving!) pedagogy with faculty who attended. Our Parent Child Institute videos in support of Barbara Mowder’s unit began their journey through the IRB process on their way to the experimental delivery to parents.
We continued collaborations to promote online degree programs (Cybersecurity and Homeland Security), also began collaborating with Bernard Dufresne on the development of a Title XI workshop for all Pace students, staff, and faculty.
Production in October
- • 20 hours of consultations with faculty and staff in CHP, Dyson, The Office of Institutional Excellence, Pace Online, and Seidenberg.
- • 31 video produced (474 minutes total); 6 additional edited cuts.
Production Tip of the month: Use Google’s NotebookLM (soon to be integrated into Gemini) to create simple “podcast-style” interview shows from text and other web-based resources.
