Media Production in March

  • • 26 hours of consultations with faculty and staff in Dyson, College of Health Professions, Haub Law, ELI, Sands, Development, and Career Services.
  • 20 videos produced (213 minutes total); 5 additional edited cuts.

Highlights and Upcoming

  • – Smit produced the 6th episode of SmitCast — featuring Career Services. This was a great collaboration with Mahindra and Jane!
  • – Brian will present on “Creating Engaging Multimedia for Your Courses” at the upcoming Instructional Development Day (April 12th). The focus for all session topics will be on creating/improving student engagement.
  • – The OLC team shared a rough cut of Marie Charles’ Nursing for Individuals with Physical and Developmental Disabilities. This was a 30-minute cut (down from 60 minutes from 4 individual interviews). Marie’s editorial team (now including Nan Solomons and Liz Berro) will review the cut and provide notes to OLC staff for possible revisions.

Production Tip of the month: Did you know OLC staff are equipped for field recording on both campuses? This means we can shoot video on-site to capture the content you need to tell your story.
